Gomati Chakra (also known as Gomati Shila or Cow’s Eye Chakra) is a rare, naturally formed shell stone obtained from the Gomati River (Gumpti River) where it meets with Dwaraka (Gujarat, India) at the sea and is closely associated with the Dwaraka Shilas. One side of the Gomati Shila is elevated and rounded like a shell and the other side is flat with a spiral often believed to be associated with a winding sperpent. This spiral structure connects to sacred geometry the Fibonacci sequence, Golden Ratio, and spiraling consciousness. The Sacred Spiral is an ancient symbol of inner and outer journeys of personal and spiritual growth and evolution.
It is believed to bring luck and is used in spiritual and Tantric rituals. Gomati Chakra resembles the Sudarshan Chakra or Discus of Lord Krishna. It is used as a Yantra and also is used in worship. It is believed that those people who possess Gomti Chakra will be blessed with money, good health and prosperity. It is especially believed to protect children, and wearing the Gomti chakra pendant is believed to save children from evil eye and nazar dosh.
Some people bury Gomti Chakra in the foundation of buildings as it is believed to bless the residents with long life and prosperity. Some people hang it in front of the house, shops and buildings for peace and prosperity.
