Black Salt ( aka Witches Salt)
This is traditional Witches Salt that is prepared as it was for centuries. Most black Salt/Witches Salt sold today is just volcanic salt that is naturally black with no preparation done and is not believed to be a as potent as the traditional salt which is what is described in most folklore.
This is long known as a powerful tool in the protection of one’s property and self, and also a powerful tool to drive off unwanted entities. Black salt differs from traditional blessed salt in that while it does protect the home and properties, it is mainly used to drive off entities and people. This is more of an active type of protection then the straight up protective qualities of Blessed salt. Please note use of Black Ritual Salt against entrenched powerful entities can be dangerous.
How Black Salt is tradtionally used depends on what end result the person wishes to attain:
As a protection, it is sprinkled around the house in the same method as blessed salt.
To banish evil or remove negativity from a space, a pinch is scattered in the space and an invocation or visualization of the energy leaving is performed.
To protect from unwanted people or influences, salt is sprinkled outside the doors while naming the person or entity that is not wished to visit the property. Naming the reasons behind this out loud during the process is believed to give added power.
To remove a person from a home, salt is carefully sprinkled behind them, then sprinkled outside of the main door.
