Every one of us has our own story to tell, this one is ours...
Our name was brought to us from the universe itself to our founder during one of her daily meditations. Her soul yearned for a place where spirituality could be freely discussed and welcomed by all regardless of religious affiliations. Most shops selling spiritual items were far away and those online seemed cold and commercial or extremely outdated and forgotten by those who had created them. She kept feeling the universe nudge her closer and closer to the realization that it would be her task to create this spiritual place she could not find on her own. Our journey begins online but we hope in the near future to have a brick and mortar location to call home.

The guiding light here at Metaphysics is our founder and owner Lyndsey Hagerty. This shop is her vision and she has poured her soul into creating a warm, welcoming, and as she likes to call it "spirited" space. She was a seeker for many years before she found her way to her current path. She feels that healing and crystals and so many other spiritual experiences are non-denominational and this knowledge belongs to the entire human race.
Not only does she spend her time tirelessly traveling to search out treasures for our shelves and taking time to continue her own spiritual studies but she also designs and handcrafts all of our amazing sterling sliver, copper, and gemstone jewelry under the name of Nightwisp Designs. In addition to that she volunteers her time running her own Paranormal Research team called Nightwatch Paranormal where her and her team journey to homes and businesses to help those dealing with issues in the spirit world. The team NEVER charges for their services and feels this is their way to give back to their community. |

Lyndsey's husband and all around jack-of-all trades Andy Hagerty keeps us all going with his hard dedication. He likes to tell people "I just pick up heavy boxes and put them down" but in reality he has his hand in just about everything from our shipping, social media page, to our online store, and so much more! He accomplishes so much here that it's hard to put an "official title" on what he really does. He supports Lyndsey every step of the way and joins her on her treks to source new and amazing things for our shop.
Andy has spent many years working on his spiritual journey. Along the way he has studied various magical traditions in depth. Andy has also been fascinated with various religious traditions. He has traveled and learned the beliefs and practices of many religious traditions without judgement. He has worked to accomplish in the mundane world, but is always aware of the spiritual worlds as well. He is able to draw on many traditions to support his work as a Paranormal Investigator with Nightwatch Paranormal in finding peace for the spirits and the living as well.
